We first crossed paths while working for the same environmental non-profit. We were both immediately curious about one another, and that curiosity led to friendship, and that friendship led to private martial arts classes.

After one of those classes, Ricky casually mentioned that he liked someone at work, leading to Rachel to playfully challenging him about whether or not he thought the girl knew. His response was a simple 'Nope!' while looking away. Rachel replied, (maybe a bit too harshly) "You don’t get what you don’t ask for!" and then left in a mild huff. Our wedding will be held just about seven years after that day.

In that seven years we've experimented with countless recipes (both good and bad), traveled to some truly breathtaking places, shared endless laughter, and grew to love each other more each day.

As we prepare to celebrate this next chapter together, we are grateful for every moment that has brought us closer and we look forward to many more adventures in the future.
